Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of twin train accident in Madhya Pradesh.
At least 19 people were killed in Madhya Pradesh's Harda district when the Varanasi-bound Kamayani Express and Mumbai-bound Janata Express trains derailed and fell into Kali Machak river around midnight on Tuesday, authorities said on Wednesday
"Very sad to learn of the derailment of 2 trains in Madhya Pradesh. My deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones in this mishap," Rahul said in a tweet.
"I hope the injured are provided adequate medical care and assistance at the earliest," the Congress vice president said.
