Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 'cloud cover' theory on the Balakot air strike, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday asked Modi if all planes go out of the radar screen when it rains in India.

Addressing an election rally here, Gandhi said: "Modi says that air force officials said that the weather was bad to carry out the air strike in Balakot. Modiji told the officers that the weather was favourable as clouds would not allow the (Pakistani) radar to spot our planes. Modiji, please tell us, when there is rain and storm in India, do all the planes go out of the radar screen?"

The Congress President also accused the Modi government of doing injustice to the people and said Congress' NYAY scheme will cure this injustice.

"Five crore families will be benefited under the scheme. Demonetization and GST have destroyed the economy, NYAY will improve it.

"Thousands of industries were shut due to demonetization and the GST, unemployment also rose. But as soon as people will get the money under the scheme, economy will improve."
