Actor Raj Tarun is on cloud nine after Ravi Teja, his matinee idol, appreciated his performance in his latest Telugu romantic-drama "Cinema Choopista Maava". Ravi compared Tarun's performance with his own from his earliest hit "Idiot".
"Coming from Ravi Teja, it's a compliment to cherish. He's been my biggest inspiration in the industry as I look up to his rise as an actor with no backing. He rose on his own and that's something I relate to easily," Tarun told IANS.
Tarun is elated with the response to the film, directed by Trinadha Rao.
"I had my own doubts about Trinadha because his first film didn't do well. But he proved me wrong and I consider myself lucky to have accepted this project," he said.
The young actor currently has two Telugu projects, "Kumari 21F", and a yet-untitled film in offing.
