Superstar Rajinikanth recently watched Tamil comedy "Mundasupatti" and lauded its makers for giving audiences a perfect family entertainer. He also heaped praise on the performances of the film's lead actors.
A story set against a superstitious village, the film features Vishnu Vishal, Nandita, Ramadass and Kaali Venkat in lead roles.
"I really loved the film, especially the performances of Vishnu, Ramadass and Kaali. I would really like to congratulate producer C.V. Kumar and Fox Star Studios India for producing a wholesome family entertainer," Rajini said in a statement.
"Mundasupatti", which release Friday in cinemas, has managed to impress audiences and critics alike. With its quirky narrative, it handles a controversial subject with wit.
