FC Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic decided to help the modest Bosnian football club of Radnik Bijeljina by offering a prize at the final of the Bosnian Cup held on Wednesday between that team and Sloboda, according to media reports.
The prize is a three-day visit to Barcelona for two people, with travel, accommodation, food and tickets for a Barcelona match, the Bosnian Sporsport portal reported, according to Efe.
Radnik, seventh in the Bosnian first division, has promised, in cooperation with club friends, different prizes to attract the public to the Cup final.
Rakitic donated an electronic scoreboard to Radnik for its stadium, in another gesture of support for the club, headed by his friend Mladen Krstajic, a Serbian former player who played with him for Schalke 04.
