Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Friday that all issues, including that of the Ram Mandir and Article 370 of the Constitution, were important to the central government.

The government will not go back on promises it made ahead of the general elections last year, he added.

Interacting with media persons after giving an account of the Narendra Modi government's activities and work done during the past one year, the minister said the government was aware of its promises and things were moving in the right direction.

"All issues are important," he said answering a query on whether the Modi government was doing anything on Ram Mandir and Article 370 of the constitution regarding Jammu and Kashmir.

On being asked if the government has put these issues on the back-burner, the minister replied in the negative.

"We are busy in development, all issues are important," he said, adding that since the Ram Mandir issue was in court, everyone would have to wait for the court's verdict or the people of the two communities could resolves the issue amicably.

He also said that a demand for a special package to Andhra Pradesh was being considered.

The home minister, responding to queries on action against international NGOs working in India, said it was done within the parameters of the law of the land.

When reminded that most of those NGOs were managed by Christians and it seemed that the government was targeting them, he said it was all being done under the law.

On Delhi getting full statehood, the minister said it was not being discussed currently.
