Chelsea midfielder Ramires is in doubt for Brazil's football friendlies against Argentina and Japan next month due to a groin injury.
The 27-year-old suffered an adductor strain during the Blues' 1-1 draw with Manchester City in the Premier League Sunday, reports Xinhua.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho ruled Ramires out of the team's next two league matches against Aston Villa and Arsenal as well as Tuesday's Champions League clash against Sporting Lisbon.
"He needs to rest for two weeks. Maybe he'll return after the international break," Mourinho said during a press conference Friday.
Brazil will play Argentina in Beijing Oct 11 followed by the clash against Japan in Singapore three days later.
