Popular video jockey-turned-actor Rannvijay Singh suffered an injury while performing some action sequences in Manali for new show "Pukaar" recently.

It was just last week that the former "Roadies" host injured one of his fingers and his nose during some daredevilry. He was bleeding, but he cleaned up the injury, used an antiseptic and resumed shooting -- much to the delight of the crew, said a source from the set.

"Pukaar" will go on air on Life OK mid-November. But a date is yet to be finalised.

The show is said to be action packed, and producer Vipul A Shah is making sure the special effects and action sequences are first class.

Rannvijay, known for his fit frame, is said to have performed all stunts without using a body double.

'Yeh Dil Sun...' cast uses own costumes

The costumes for TV show "Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai" were destroyed in the recent fire that broke out at the Killick Nixon studio. But the cast members have come to the rescue by using their own wardrobe items for the shoot.

The Sony PAL show is produced by Ekta Kapoor, who also owns the Killick Nixon studio.

"They are shooting cut-to-cut as the show is aired Monday to Saturday. So the artists are using their own clothes while shooting. They have placed a bulk order for the show's attires, but it will take some time for the delivery. So, for a couple of days, the artists are shooting in their clothes," a source told IANS.

"Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai" is a Patna-based love story between a daughter of a senior government employee and a son of the local coal mafia. It stars Aparna Dixit and Navi Bhangu in the lead.

Preeti finds home away from home on set

Long hours of shooting make actors miss their home, but actress Preeti Chowdhary feels at home when on the set of "Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi".

In "Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi", she plays an elder sister who is very close to her five sisters. So, there's no reason for her to miss her home, said a source.

In real life, Preeti is blessed with the love and affection of not one, but 11 siblings -- cousins included. Hailing from a very closely knit family, it's only natural to have a desire to be among several people.

Preeti's role in the show, which comes on Sony PAL, ensures she doesn't miss them.
