Reliance Communications' consolidated net profit rose 21.4 percent to Rs.132 crore for the first quarter (April-June) of the current fiscal (2014-15), a company statement said here Thursday.
The company posted net profit of Rs.108 crore during the corresponding quarter last fiscal (2013-14).
The revenue of the company increased 2.1 percent year-on-year to Rs.5,523 crore in the first quarter from Rs.5,412 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
In the first quarter, the company had 28.6 million data customers, including 13 million 3G customers in its India operations.
The total data traffic was at 55,276 million MB, up 78 percent year-on-year, the statement said.
