Real Madrid suffered a 0-2 defeat at home to Real Sociedad in La Liga action, thanks to tallies by Willian Jose on a penalty kick just two minutes into play and Ruben Pardo in the 82nd minute.
After Casemiro fouled Mikel Merino just a couple of minutes into play, Jose converted on the penalty kick, putting the visitors on the scoreboard and Real Madrid on the defensive.
The score remained at 1-0 through the first half, but Madrid was further disadvantaged when Lucas Vazquez was expelled in the 61st minute upon receiving his second yellow card, reports Efe news.
In the final minutes of play, Pardo found the back of the net through a header on a pass from Jose.
This was Madrid's second consecutive outing without a win, having battled Villarreal to a 2-2 draw just a few days ago.
