Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal on Monday said his most difficult job against Bayern Munich would be stopping the Bundesliga football club's top scorer Robert Lewandowski and wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, ahead of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

Carvajal added that he was privileged that in each of his years at Real Madrid the club has made it to the Champions League semis -- the first leg of which kicks off Wednesday at the Allianz Arena in Munich, reports Efe.

"Robben, Lewandowski and Ribery, all three are very difficult players to stop. They are tough to mark and can surprise you by scoring a goal using unexpected skills," Carvajal said at an event with Real Madrid's official betting partner Codere.

On his squad's chances of winning the Champions League for the third time in a row, Carvajal said: "Nothing is impossible and we are going to fight for it."

The 26-year-old has won the Champions League three times; in 2016-17, 2015-16 and 2013-14.

In the 24 times Los Blancos faced Bayern Munich, the two have come out even, with Real Madrid having won 11, lost 11 and drawn twice.

However, Real has beaten Bayern in the last five consecutive matches.
