Ace choreographer Remo D'Souza received the first award of his career at the 20th Life OK Screen Awards, and describes it as an unforgettable moment.

D'Souza won the best choreographer award for his song "Badtameez dil" from "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" at the awards gala held here Jan 14.

After receiving his award the choreographer said "this is my first award. 20 years back I performed at the first Screen Awards as a backup dancer. This moment, I will never forget as it is an epic moment for me."

The 20th Life OK Screen Awards will be aired Saturday on Life OK.

Daya draws fans in Ahmedabad

There is no doubt that crime show "C.I.D." has a huge fan following, and recently Dayanand Shetty, who essays Senior Inspector Daya in the popular show, tasted fans' frenzy in Ahmedabad.

The cast was in the city to shoot an episode during the international kite flying competition and the fans went berserk when Daya stepped out of his vanity van.

The crowd got so out of control that the shoot came to a halt on the first day. Later, Daya clicked photos with his female fans.

"The Ahmedabad shoot was wonderful. Initial two days were like mad, we were not able to control the public," said Daya adding that there were about 50,000 people.

"C.I.D." airs on Sony Entertainment Television.

TV actors support DID 4 contestants

Popular TV artists like Roopal Tyagi and Mahima Makwana will be seen performing with the top six contestants of the fourth season of dance reality show "Dance India Dance" in an upcoming episode. The actors will support their personal favourite in the special episode.

Roopal, seen as Gunjan in "Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke", was paired up with Dheeraj Bakshi and their performance wowed the judges.

"Roopal worked with me as my assistant choreographer and choreographed the song 'Mere dholna' in the movie 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'," said Shruti Merchant, one of the judges, in a statement.

Mahima, seen as Rachna in the same show, and Roopal were joined by other celebrities such as Neha Marda and Siddharth Arora, seen as Urmi and Ishaan respectively in "Doli Armaanon Ki", Neha Laxmi, who plays Najma in "Qubool Hai" and Mishkat Varma, Raj from "Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya".

The top six contestants of "Dance India Dance" season four, which comes on Zee TV, are Dhiraj Bakshi, Swarali Karulkar, Shyam Yadav, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Manan Sachdeva, Biki Das.
