If the bumpy and uncomfortable roads in Haryana are a motorist's nightmare, don't worry. Your grievance is just a photo click away.
The state public works department will soon launch a Whatsapp number where the people would be able to send pictures of the damaged roads of their areas along with location details, Public Works (Buildings and Roads) minister Rao Narbir Singh said on Saturday.
He said in a statement that work on the damaged road would start within 72 hours after receiving the complaint.
With this facility, the people would not have to visit government offices for the repair of damaged roads in their respective areas, the minister said.
He said Rs.2,900 crore have been allocated for the construction and improvement of roads in this fiscal.
