Retired Tiago Mendes joins Atletico coaching staff
Capital football club Atletico Madrid on Friday announced that retired midfielder Tiago Mendes has joined the first team's coaching staff.
The contract of 36-year-old Tiago with Atletico expired on May 30. He came to Atletico in January of 2010, loaned by Juventus.
The 36-year-old has played 66 times for his national team, with the last appearance coming in 2015.
