Ritika Singh, who will make her acting debut with the forthcoming film "Saala Khadoos", says she doesn't want to get carried away by stardom.

Asked if the behaviour of her friends has changed, she said: "All are the same. I wish that they remain the same, so that I stay grounded. Otherwise, I'll fly too high. Even I would like to stay the same way.

"I have specifically told them to be always the same irrespective of what I become or achieve in the future and that I should be the same for them always."

The team of "Saala Khadoos" including the film's producer Rajkumar Hirani and her co-star R. Madhavan were dressed in south Indian attire on the occasion of the festival of Pongal. Ritika, a national-level kick boxer, also donned a sari.

"It was difficult for me to wear this as I'm not used to all this. It's the first time I've worn an attire like this - like a girl. But still I'm feeling very good," she said.

Will Ritika, who has also learnt mixed martial arts, continue with sports?

"I want to do films because I really enjoyed it. But I can never leave martial arts because I've been doing it since three years, so it runs in my family. And I see it wherever I go. So, I can't leave it ever," she said.

"Saala Khadoos", directed by Sudha Kongara, will hit the screens on January 29.
