Sete Lagaos (Brazil), June 22 (IANS/EFE) Uruguay head coach Oscar Tabarez believes that rivalry among teams, which is reflected in the results of the 2014 FIFA World Cup group stage matches, justifies Spain and England's early exit from the classy tournament.
The challenge is increasing further every World Cup, Tabarez added while praising the Costa Rica national team that grabbed a 3-1 victory over his side and a 1-0 win over Italy to top Group D, reports EFE.
Tabarez went on to say that Italy's loss does not change his plans for Tuesday's clash and all he can think of is winning.
The 67-year-old coach also gushed over his star striker Luis Suarez, who went under the knife for a knee injury three weeks ago. Suarez scored two goals in England's match that ended in 2-1.
Costa Rica top Group D with six points, followed by Italy and Uruguay with three points each leaving England at the bottom with zero points.
