Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, said on Saturday that he supports her and his brother-in-law Rahul Gandhi, the party's vice president, on the National Herald case.

"Politics of vendetta and desperate malicious attempts of defamation will not be believed... Truth shall prevail," he posted on Facebook.

Sonia Gandhi and Rahul are expected to appear at the Patiala House court at 3 p.m. in connection with the National Herald case.

They will be accompanied by Priyanka Gandhi and her husband Robert Vadra.
