The makers of superstar Mahesh Babu-starrer Telugu drama "Brahmotsavam", which is currently on the floors, are said to have spent a whopping Rs.3.5 crore on a 'sangeet' number for the film.
"It's the introductory song featuring Mahesh and nearly 500 junior artists. Besides Mahesh, the song also features the ensemble cast of Pranitha Subhash, Jayasudha, Sayaji Shinde, Tanikella Bharani, Naresh and Krishna Bhagwan among others," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
"Rs.3.5 crore was spent on the sets and other arrangements that were made for the song," the source said.
Young actress Chandini Chowdary matches steps with Mahesh in the song.
Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal in important roles.
The next schedule of the film will start in Hyderabad on October 5.
