After making his debut on the small screen with "Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara", actor Ruslaan Mumtaz will be seen in "Yeh hai Aashiqui", with a reel love story that bears resemblance to his real love story.

In a forthcoming episode of the bindass show, Ruslaan will feature as a Muslim boy in love with a Hindu girl. His character will be seen standing by the side of his love irrespective of the repercussions.

The episode is an interesting case of reel life imitating real life, as the actor who is happily married with his long time Hindu girlfriend, reveals he had faced a similar situation before finding his happily ever after.

Talking about the show and his life, Ruslaan said in a statement: "The girl's family is always skeptical when the question is about their daughters' marriage and the person with whom she is planning to spend her future. It is the girl, who has to move into the boy's house, which is altogether a new beginning for her.

"Hence, the girl's parents are concerned about the changes in which their daughter will have to adjust. Also, the boy has to face these reactions from a girl's family until and unless he proves himself to be an ideal match for their daughter."

For the episode, the actor will be seen romancing actress Bhavna Chauhan, who has done movies like "Hasee Toh Phasee" and "Jai Ho".

Actor Ritvik Dhanjani will host the show, which will be aired Sunday.
