A top Army officer in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday assured safety to militants willing to give up arms and return to normal life.
Speaking at an event at the Light infantry headquarters here, Lt. General K.J.S. Dhillon appealed to Kashmiri mothers to bring back their sons, who have gone wayward and joined militancy.
The General Officer Commanding of Srinagar-headquartered 15 Corps asked the mothers to stop their children from picking up arms.
He assured that all those who decide to give up militancy will have a safe entry into mainstream.
