Sam Smith 'happier than ever' over weight loss

Grammy Award-winning singer Sam Smith says he is feeling "happier than ever" following his dramatic weight loss and is just four pounds away from his goal weight.

He has been documenting his weight-loss journey on image-sharing website Instagram, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Captioning a photograph of himself and showing off his slimmer frame, Smith wrote: "4 pounds away from my goal weight and feel happier and healthier than ever #eatnourishglow (sic)"

The 22-year-old singer has been receiving dieting tips from "Naughty Girl" hitmaker Beyonce Knowles.

"I did have a conversation with Beyonce about food, which was great," he said.

Smith has also been working with nutritional therapist Amelia Freer.

"Three weeks ago I met a woman who has completely changed my life. Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in 2 weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food.

"Everyone go check out her incredible book and start to live healthy. It's not even about weight loss it's about feeling happy in yourself. Love you Amelia & thank you for making me feel so happy inside and out @ameliafreer #eatnourishglow (sic), " he wrote.
