Samarth Ravikumar slammed his second century of the match (106 not out, 171b, 11x4) for KSCA President's XI who drew with KSCA Secretary's XI, but clinched the Safi Darashah trophy on the basis of first innings lead in the final of the all-India cricket tournament that concluded here Tuesday.
Chasing a target of 289 for victory, President's XI were 190 for 3 in 61 overs when the stumps were drawn. Samarth, who tallied 850 runs in five matches including centuries in both innings of the semi-final and final, was adjudged best batsman of the tournament while J. Suchith (KSCA Secretary's XI) was declared best bowler having taken 24 wickets in five matches.
