Two second-half goals helped Sampdoria stun AC Milan 2-0 in the Italian Serie A football league's sixth round on Sunday.
Thanks to goals by Colombian Duvan Zapata and Argentina's Ricardo Alvarez, hosts Sampdoria won for the first time in three league matches, reports Efe.
Sampdoria have taken 11 points in five matches and took sixth spot in the league, just one point and one position behind Milan.
It was Milan's second league defeat so far this season.
With 18 minutes to go, Milan's Colombian defender Cristian Zapata paid for the weak clearance of the ball that went directly to his cousin, Duvan, who did not think twice before putting it in the back of the net.
One minute into the injury time, Alvarez doubled the score with a shot from inside the area.
