Domestic online fashion marketplace Jabong on Saturday said it has appointed fashion industry veteran Sanjeev Mohanty as its chief executive to steer the company towards its next growth phase.
Mohanty will act as chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director (MD) effective December 2015, the company said.
"His strong leadership skills and deep understanding of fashion and the Indian consumer, coupled with the continued commitment from GFG's shareholders, will allow Jabong to further strengthen its position as the leading online fashion destination in India," Romain Voog, chief executive of Global Fashion Group (GFG), the parent company of Jabong, said.
