Sanofi posts 72.5 crore profit

Pharmaceutical company Sanofi on Tuesday announced a net profit of Rs.72.5 crore for second quarter of 2015-16, a rise of 16 percent over the same period of last fiscal.

The company's total income from operations grew from Rs.514.9 crore in the last quarter to Rs.585.8 crore in the period under review, while total expenditure increased from Rs.435 crore to Rs.472.9 crore, Sanofi said in a regulatory filing.
