Actress Sarah Hyland is ready to date again, but she wants a boyfriend who can make her laugh.
The "Modern Family" actress recently secured a three-year restraining order against ex-boyfriend Matthew Prokop after claiming that he abused her for four years before she ended their relationship in August. But she is once again prepared to romance.
"My type is people who make me laugh. I don't think it's so much about looks. It's about personality, honestly - a sense of humour, sincerity, ambition and drive," contactmusic.com quoted the 23-year-old as saying.
Despite her personal struggles, Hyland has said she is doing well.
"I'm great. Working on 'Modern Family' and spreading awareness for adoption and cleaning up after your pets," she said.
