Ritu Raj, who had composed a song for Aamir Khan's TV show "Satyamev Jayate", will now participate in reality show "India's Raw Star".
"India's Raw Star" - a platform to find the ultimate performing artist - will go on air Aug 24 on Star Plus. Raj is one of the top 10 contestants shortlisted by rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, who will be mentoring them.
"I have worked with Star Plus before as I had composed a song for 'Satyamev Jayate'. I did that because I am a big fan of Aamir Khan and this show had a social relevance but now I am doing the new show for myself," said Raj who had composed "Aam ke aam honge".
"With 'India's Raw Star', the stakes are high. It is a bigger platform with a never seen before concept. I am really excited to work with a sensation like Honey Singh and learn from him," Raj said in a statement.
