Senior Pakistani journalist injured in firing
Pakistan's Geo News' senior anchorperson Hamid Mir was injured in an attack by gunmen in Karachi Saturday.
Four gunmen riding on two motorcycles opened fire on Hamid Mir's car a few kilometers away from the airport police station, The News International reported.
A Geo News correspondent said Hamid Mir was going from Karachi airport to the Geo office when he was attacked.
He received bullet injuries and was admitted to a private hospital.
