Serbia is willing to support the US in fight against the Islamic State (IS), Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said in letter to US President Barack Obama Tuesday.
Vucic Tuesday expressed his desire in a letter handed over to US ambassador to Serbia Michael Kirby, Xinhua reported citing a statement issued after their meeting.
"Serbian government supports the fight against ISIS and is willing to help in this fight, in accordance with its limited resources."
During their meeting in the building of the Serbian government, Vucic and Kirby also talked about relations in the Western Balkans and upcoming economic reforms in Serbia.
The statement said that they also talked about Serbia's involvement in the fight to suppress spreading of Ebola as well as the Open Skies Agreement that would enable Air Serbia to operate flights to the US.
