Seven persons have been taken into custody in a question papers leak case, police said here on Tuesday.
"Question papers of Class IX and Class XI examinations were leaked from Amarpatan in Satna district. In this connection, police have arrested seven people during a series of raids on Monday and Tuesday," Satna Superintendent of Police Mithilesh Shukla told IANS.
The accused were being interrogated and only then it would be known how they accessed the question papers, the police officer added.
The question papers of Class IX and Class XI examinations became viral on the social media prior to the examinations in the state, and the state government had to put off the tests as a result.
The cancelled examinations have been rescheduled for April 3.
