Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan Thursday suffered a "minor" injury on the sets of a movie and received the required medical aid, said an official statement.
He was rushed to the Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital here.
"Shah Rukh Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. He is absolutely fine now," read the official statement from the actor-filmmaker's office.
A source at the facility confirmed to IANS that SRK was in the physiotherapy department of the hospital.
The 48-year-old was shooting for Farah Khan's "Happy New Year" when the incident took place, said trade analyst Taran Adarsh in his tweet.
