Pakistani Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here Thursday and handed over an invite from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to visit Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif, younger brother of the prime minister, was with Manmohan Singh for around 20 minutes, informed sources said.
"He extended an invite from Nawaz Sharif to visit Pakistan as well as his (Manmohan Singh's) village," a source told IANS. Manmohan Singh was born in what now constitutes Pakistan's Punjab province.
