TV actress Shamata Anchan of "Everest" fame has warned a stalker, who has been harassing her by calling at odd hours from different numbers, that she will file a police complaint against him.
Shamata, who is playing the lead role in Ashutosh Gowariker's "Everest", claims that many unknown people are calling her on her private number. But this stalker from Mumbai has been calling her up consistently even after she warned him not to do so.
Now she is planning to lodge a police complaint if he continues to harass her.
"This person used to call me many times throughout the day at odd hours that I lost count. Initially I would ignore the calls and block the numbers, but he started calling from different numbers," Shamata said in a statement.
"Now I have threatened to report him to the cops if he doesn't stop so for his own good I hope he stops harassing me," she added.
