Paying his tribute to Sachin Tendulkar, Former South Africa all-rounder Shaun Pollock has said the master blaster had an "exceptional" career which should end on a high.
"Credit goes to him for the way he conducted himself under the weight of expectation and extra attention he has dealt with everyday in India," tweeted Pollock, who enjoyed many a battle against Tendulkar and got time to spend with the Indian icon when he was coach of the Mumbai Indians.
Tendulkar will end his 24-year career with the second Test against the West Indies beginning in Mumbai Thursday.
"I think 200 Tests is an amazing achievement and Sachin has been a wonderful cricketer to watch and play against. A true ambassador of the game.
"I wish him well in his 200th game. Being a cricket romantic I hope he produces a performance that is a fitting finale to an exceptional career," added Pollock.
