Delhi Congress President Sheila Dikshit on Saturday met UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi at her residence to discuss the state unit's preparedness for the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Party sources said that the meeting lasted for over 45 minutes.
The source said that the former Chief Minister also apprised Gandhi about the party booth presidents' convention scheduled to be held at the Indira Gandhi stadium on March 11. The meet will be addressed by party President Rahul Gandhi.
Asked if the two leaders discussed the possibility of alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party in the city, a source denied it and accusing the city's ruling party of spreading a "false narrative".
