Olympic medallist shooters Gagan Narang and Vijay Kumar Thursday inaugurated a 10-metre indoor shooting range at the Manav Rachna International School (MRIS) in Sector-46 here.
"Shooting needs to become a popular sporting event right from the school level. I hope that in the time to come, more and more schools in India take inspiration from MRIS and include shooting as part of their major games programme," Narang said.
"The 10-metre shooting is the base of the categories under the rifle shooting sport, I am sure this shooting range will help many young rifle shooting aspirants solidify their talent," he said.
