Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu took oath on Thursday as a nominated memeber of the Rajya Sabha.
Dressed in a maroon blazer with a matching turban, Sidhu took the oath in Punjabi.
He was previously elected to the Lok Sabha thrice.
This was the third time that a member took oath to the upper house since it resumed on Monday.
Anand Sharma of the Congress, Subramanian Swamy of the BJP and boxer Mary Kom (nominated) were among those who took oath earlier this week.
