Side swept curls, pearl strings, chiffon saris and lace blouses - Simone Singh's new look in forthcoming show "Ek Hasina Thi" will reflect a vintage flavour.
Simone, who is making a comeback on the small screen as the affluent and powerful Sakshi Goenka, is said to have been actively involved in the styling of her on screen character.
She calls her character "quite the style icon".
"The makers wanted Sakshi's look to be distinct on screen. Her persona is contemporary and elite and she has an aura of strength and grace. Hence, we decided to go vintage chic with my look," she said in a statement.
Simone is happy with her look so far.
"Ek Hasina Thi" will go on air on Star Plus starting April 14.

When Big B left his fan stumped!
There are things megastar Amitabh Bachchan may miss out on for being a celebrity, but he says he can still walk down Mumbai's streets as a regular citizen.
During a recent visit to the set of "Comedy Nights With Kapil", Amitabh was asked by host Kapil Sharma about the things he misses out on because of being such a big star.
Big B promptly replied: "I still walk down the streets of Mumbai like any other citizen."
He then recollected a story about a time when he was once stuck at a signal in Versova for a long time. While waiting, he noticed someone sitting in the car ahead of him throw out an empty bottle from the window.
Seeing this, he stepped out of his car, knocked on the window and once the lady rolled the window down, he asked her to throw the bottle in a dustbin at home, not on the road.
The lady was awestruck for five minutes, and eventually just said: "May I have your autograph please?"
Watch Big B talk about this experience on "Comedy Nights With Kapil" on Colors Sunday.

Boman prefers playing strict!
Versatile actor Boman Irani has played multitude comical roles, but it's the strict and serious ones he enjoys the most.
"I enjoy playing strict roles. If everyone goes to play the hero, how will we make the movie? Hence I do them. I enjoy them," Boman said on Disney Channel's chat show "Captain Tiao".
Hosted by eight-year-old child star Sadhil Kapoor, the show brought out the child-like side of the 54-year-old actor.
"Captain Tiao" is a first-of-its-kind short format talk show conceptualized keeping in mind the curious nature of a child and the intriguing questions that children never hesitate to ask.
