Six die due to electrocution, drowning in Jharkhand

At least six persons including three children, died due to electrocution and drowning in two districts of Jharkhand on Tuesday, police said.

According to the police, three persons were electrocuted to death in Pakur district which is around 500 Km from here, on Tuesday.

These youth came under 11,000 volt high tension wire. Three died on the spot and one injured is being treated.

In Ramgarh district three children died due to drowning in a water body, where they had gone to bathe.

This year, more than 70 children have died due to drowning in water bodies in the state.
