Six people were killed and 13 injured on Tuesday in two road accidents in Jammu and Kashmir.
A police officer told IANS here that four persons were killed and 13 others were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in went out of driver's control on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Banihal town in Ramban district.
"The ill-fated vehicle dropped into a 300-foot deep gorge," the police officer said.
All the injured have been admitted to a sub-district hospital in Banihal town for treatment.
Two motorcyclists died on the spot in another accident on the same highway in Tikri area of Udhampur district on Tuesday, the police officer said.
