A 25-year-old army soldier committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan inside his room here over family issues, police said Saturday.
Balaji of the Madras regiment, was found hanging around 11 p.m. Wednesday inside his room in Delhi Cantonment in south Delhi.
"The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be ascertained as we could not recover any suicide note. Initial information revealed that he was upset over some family issue," a police officer said.
