India's top singles tennis player Somdev Devvarman gained two positions to occupy 95th place while compatriot Yuki Bhambri dropped a place to 156 in the latest ATP rankings released Monday.
In the doubles ATP rankings, Leander Paes dropped two places to 11th with Rohan Bopanna the next best placed Indian in the 14th position. Mahesh Bhupathi dropped ten places and is 56th ranked in the world
Saina Mirza continues to occupy eighth place in the WTA doubles rankings for women.
Ankita Raina is still the top-ranked Indian singles player gaining nine places to be in 295th position. It was also a good week for Prarthana Thombare, who climbed six places to 383rd.
