Kavi Shastri turns 'chai-wala'

Actors play multitude roles in their career. For Kavi Shastri, it was time to play a streetside 'chai-wala' for an episode of the TV show "Love By Chance".

The show's host, Kavi, an Indian who was born and raised in London, dressed up in a kurta and stood behind a table with a stove, tea saucepan and kettle among other items used by a tea vendor, for the shoot.

A colourful umbrella added jazz to the otherwise plain look of the actor in the romantic comedy show, aired on Bindass.

"Love By Chance" showcases a falling in love story every week between two individuals who stumble into love just by chance.

It's 200 episodes for 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein'

Telly entertainer "Ye Hai Mohabbatein", from the house of Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, has clocked 200 successful episodes. It called for celebrations on the show's set.

When the show was being launched on Star Plus in December last year, Ekta had said she was confident of its content. It started as an urban story of two Delhi-based neighbours - Iyers and Bhallas, who have a conflict prone relationship.

The show has been appreciated by audiences and its lead actors - Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel - have been loved.

To celebrate the occasion, the entire cast and crew cut cakes on the set and had a cosy get together to wish more milestones for the show.
