Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Monday condoled the death of senior party leader and former Bihar MP Shyama Singh, saying "she served the people with immense dedication".
"Singh served the people with immense dedication and her noteworthy contributions to the well-being of the people of Aurangabad shall be never be forgotten," said Gandhi.
Singh was married to former Nagaland and Kerala Governor and Delhi Police Commissioner Nikhil Kumar, who was also elected to the 14th Lok Sabha from Bihar's Aurangabad.
