New Delhi, April 23 (IANS) Congress chief Sonia Gandhi Tuesday rebuffed the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) demand for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's resignation.

"Let them ask," Gandhi told reporters when asked about the BJP's demand.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day amid noisy demands by the BJP for Manmohan Singh's resignation over a parliamentary standing committee's report on coal block allocation.

Gandhi also met the prime minister and senior cabinet ministers before the report was tabled in the Lok Sabha.
