Legendary singer Elton John says his sons with husband David Furnish are the "greatest thing" in their lives.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the "Rocket man" hitmaker opened up about his role as a father and a husband, reports people.com.
"If you'd had said to me 10 years ago I'd be sitting on your show married to the man I love and have two beautiful children I would have said, 'You put acid in my drink.' But life throws you challenges and life throws you curveballs - great curveballs - and these two children have come along at a time I never thought I'd have children," John, 68, said.
"They are the greatest thing in our lives. There's no words to describe how much we love these boys. They're just amazing."
John and Furnish, who recently celebrated their one-year anniversary of marriage, share two sons Zachary, 5, and Elijah, 3.
The couple have been enjoying all that comes with family life - including the fun vacations.
"It was the first time they'd been (to Disneyland) and they went on a lot of things including the tea cups which I hate," John shared.
"You see my pictures - I'm sitting there like that. And Zachary just laughing his head off. But we had a wonderful time there."
Being a part of a musical family, John admitted that his children do sing his own songs sometimes, but have some favourites of their own.
"I mean they love 'Hotline bling'" he said. "That's their favourite song. And they love 'Uptown funk' and Zachary likes 'Kraftwerk' which is a bit worrying."
