Spain's David Ferrer, fourth seed at the Estoril Open, defeated American Ryan Harrison to face his compatriot, Pablo Carreno Busta, in the semi-finals of the Estoril tennis tournament.
Ferrer defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-0 in one hour and 11 minutes on Friday, reports Efe.
In the semi-finals, the Spaniard will face Carreno, who also eliminated on Friday his fellow countryman Nicolas Almagro, the winner in Estoril last year when both met in the final.
Ferrer's pass to the semi-finals also ensures that one of the finalists of this ATP-250 tournament will be Spanish.
