Prime Minister Narendra Modi should speak on atrocities on Dalits, Kashmir, farmers suicides and dal prices in his forthcoming Independence Day speech, Delhi Chief Minster Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday.
"Sir, please speak on dalit atrocities, gau rakshaks, Kashmir, Akhlak, farmer suicides, daal price. People dying to hear you on these," Kejriwal posted on Twitter.
The suggestion came after Modi asked on social media for ideas for his August 15 speech.
"My 15th August speech should represent the voice of 125 crore Indians. Share your ideas for the speech on (Narendra Modi) mobile app", Modi said.
Kejriwal is the National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that has been engaged in an acrimonious power struggle in Delhi against the BJP-led central government.
