Singer Britney Spears' song "Ooh la la", which features in "Smurfs 2", had to be tweaked a bit as it was too sexy for the children's animation film.
The song is written by Bonnie McKee, and he had to bring in changes in a way that Spears' Midas touch did not go away, reports dailystar.co.uk.
"I came in and was the doctor behind it. It was originally pretty sexy. I was like: 'OK, how do I take this sex-drenched song and make it Smurfs friendly," McKee said.
"She's still a beautiful, sexy, fierce woman in charge, so we had to keep some of the teeth in the song but make it kid-friendly," he added.
"Smurfs 2", releasing in India Friday, is a sequel to 2011 animation movie "Smurfs".
