Sri Lanka were restricted to 181 for eight in 50 overs by India in the second semi-final of the Champions Trophy at Sophia Gardens here Thursday.

Skipper Angelo Matthews was the top scorer with 51 while Mahela Jaywardene made 38. India pacer Ishant Sharma and offie Ravichandran Ashwin bagged three wickets each.

The start of the match was delayed by half-an-hour due to a wet outfield -- but both teams will play the regular fifty overs.
